Does Form Follow Function? Really?

I've subscribed to this theory since my high school art history teacher first taught me about the Frank Lloyd Wright, and its something I've firmly believed in since, but this is a great disection of the phrase and the history, and its relevance in a web environment.

Create social media guidelines for your business.

Company guidelines for social media use is a bit of a minefield (I'm neck-deep in it right now!). This page has a lot of goodness to help you navigate and create your own.

"The Chilean quake shifted enough material to change the mass balance of our entire planet"

That quote (from Richard Gross of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (NASA) in California) seems insane, but according to Nasa, its a possibly a major cause of climate change. Cause or Effect?

Pictures of widespread devastation leave no doubt: Last month's 8.8 magnitude earthquake in coastal Chile was strong. How strong? NASA scientists say it might have shifted the axis of Earth itself.

Are you just a freelancer, or are you a successful one

Essential reading for any one working as a freelancer, or considering it. I've had a couple of stints as at it (mostly out of necessity) and its hard work, thats for sure.

Bakon Vodka - Masterpiece of Marketing or Guaranteed Flop?

Interesting product, but I'm not convinced. Perfect for an "eye-opener" though! Ahem... or not.

The beautiful and interesting world of Marwencol.

Another amazing site courtesy of Neatorama.

"After being beaten into a brain-damaging coma by five men outside a bar, Mark built a 1/6th scale World War II-era town in his backyard. Mark populated the town he dubbed “Marwencol” with dolls representing his friends and family and created life-like photographs detailing the town’s many relationships and dramas. Playing in the town and photographing the action helped Mark to recover his hand-eye coordination and deal with the psychic wounds from the attack. Through his homemade therapy, Mark was able to begin the long journey back into the “real world”, both physically and emotionally – something he continues to struggle with today."

Liberals and Athiests are more evolved?

Probably a bit devisive, and considering that many non-atheists don't believe in evolution anyway, maybe not such a big deal?
